News: Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame Inductions on October 3
The Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame and the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston are pleased to announce that the 2020 Inductions to the Canadian Sailing Hall of Fame, which was postponed because of the pandemic, will now take place on Sunday, October 3rd, 2021 at the Kingston Yacht Club in Kingston, ON.

Eight bells: Paul Tennyson, founder CS Yachts
Paul Tennyson adapted from the reinforced plastics business to form Canadian Sailcraft in 1963. From there it was only up with bigger and more impressive boats, big name designers and arrival as one of Ontario’s big three builders C&C, Hinterhoeller and CS; Tennyson became well known as a pioneer of the Canadian industry.

Chester NS sisters score bronze at 49er FX European Championships
Canadian sailors Antonia and Georgia Lewin-LaFrance from Chester NS won the bronze medal at the 2021 49er FX European Championships held in Thessaloniki, Greece. Thirty-seven boats competed; the Lewin-LaFrance team was the only non-Europeans.
