Safe Sport: Questions and Answers

Sail Canada believes everyone involved in any role in the sport of sailing has the right to participate in a safe and inclusive sailing environment free of abuse, harassment, or discrimination – collectively referred to as maltreatment. This right to fully enjoy the sport applies to everyone regardless of the level or type of sailing they participate in.

Since Sail Canada joined Abuse-Free Sport on March 1, there is a lot of questions from the sailing community. Check out our new Questions and answers section on our website where you may find the information you are looking for or send us your question. The question for this week: On March 28, Sail Canada sent a message asking people to consent to Sail Canada new Code of Conduct and to the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS). Who should consent to these?
