Sail Canada 2026 Youth Championships at Royal Vic

Over 75 competitors from across the country were in action last week, September 1-4, at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club in Victoria, B.C., for Sail Canada 2026 Youth Championships (ILCA and 29er). 

Congratulations to the winners:

-29er: Freida Smith & Laura Eisenhauer (RNSYS/LYC)

-ILCA 6 Female: Alice Wan (RVanYC)

-ILCA 6 Male: Kai Luther (RNSYS)
-ILCA 4 Female: Serenity Le (Ontario Sailing Team)

-ILCA 4 Male: Fletcher Hamilton (RVanYC)

Congratulations to the winner of Sail Canada Youth Championships FOGH Marine Sportsmanship Award:

Enzo Biello (PCYC/LYC)

Also, congratulations to the sailors who qualified to be nominated for the 2026 World Sailing Youth World Championships to be held December 15-19 in Vilamoura, Portugal, following Sail Canada Youth Championships (ILCA and 29er):
