June 19th Cover

May 9, 2019

The June 2019 issue of Canadian Yachting magazine is focused on the summer and some of the ways you can create more boating memories with family and friends.

Canadian Yachting readers are very fortunate to share in this great lifestyle and the June issue is a reminder that boating doesn’t have to mean owning a big yacht. In this June 2019 issue, you will find a number of more practical and more accessible boating stories.

Our boat reviews include the Yamaha WaveRunner FX SVHO three-seater personal watercraft, a family-focused Four Winns 180 HD and for the fisherman and outdoor enthusiasts in the group, a Wellcraft 242 F; three different boats each of which can deliver an excellent boating experience at a reasonable price.

Also in this issue we feature a wonderful and accessible destination, Port Severn on the amazing Trent Severn Waterway. Then there is something a little more aspirational; a waterfront look at the city of Chicago. Also, the eccentric Galley Guys are back and on the Rideau Canal system visiting the Scheuermann Winery.

As you begin your 2019 boating season, check out the practical, hands-on information about being a Good Samaritan on the water, join us for a look at Kingston Anchors and consider our information about marine fuel and the perils of using ordinary gasoline containing ethanol. It’s all in another fine issue of Canadian Yachting.

Frind Winery is the perfect place for boaters to go for lunch or dinner in the Kelowna area.  You can tie up on the dock or beach your pontoon on the spacious beach.

Frind has an Italian style brick pizza oven for gourmet pizzas and a great selection of other menu items.  You can eat on the patio, at a picnic table, on the beach, or on the lawn. You can also get your order to go and enjoy your meal out on the lake.
