New Issue Preview: June Canadian Boating Is Packed

The June 2026 issue of Canadian Boating magazine should arrive any day. This June issue has a strong Canadian focus editorially and we are confident you will find it interesting and enjoyable. Like you, we can’t wait to get out on the water!

But have you ever asked yourself what’s below the water? Leading off our Feature editorial is a unique story with a strong Canadian connection, and it’s something that you can get involved with. Veteran contributor Mark Stevens writes about Beneath the Waves: Map the Gaps. He met fellow Canadians Tim Kearns and Colin Thomson who introduced him to the subject of “Mapping the Sea Bed”. It turns out that individuals, particularly other boaters, can participate in this program by helping to map the global sea bed in the Seabed 2030 project.

What could be more Canadian than our Parks Canada Canals and the Canada Strong program? Travel on many of Parks Canada‘s canals will be free through the high season this summer. Enjoy the glorious photos and plan your cruise!

Then, learn about a dedicated group of Canadians who are using traditional wooden boat restoration skills to protect a unique fleet of sailboats in John Morris’ Feature story, It Takes a Village.
