Fly Boy video update

Fly Boy

Mar 22, 2018

Back in June we shared photos and video by Jim Peerless of the building process and launching of his Barrelback 19, Fly Boy. Jim did a beautiful job on Fly Boy, a Ken Hankinson design harking back to the classic Chris Craft boats of the late 1930s. Such craftsmanship and style are seldom seen today.

By way of an update Jim sent us this video of his summer with Fly Boy for our vicarious enjoyment.

The trim team smoothly sheets on the headsail and a competitor vessel shoots past our stern, feet away, as our Solana 45 beats eastward along Antigua’s south coast.
