When you travel through the waterways, hand the coupon to the Parks Canada staff at one of the lock stations when you buy your lockage permit. You will get your next permit for free.

Where can I get a coupon in person?

Coupons will also be distributed at boat shows in Canada during winter 2016 (see list below). To learn more about this offer and the numerous experiences you can have thanks to this promotion, you are invited to meet Parks Canada staff at their booth at the following events:

Toronto International Boat Show: January 9 to 17, 2016
Montreal Boat & Watersports Show: February 4 to 7, 2016
Ottawa Boat & Sportsmen’s Show: February 18 to 21, 2016

Coupons will also be available in some marinas along the Rideau Canal and the Trent-Severn Waterway, in the greater Montreal area as well as those on Lake Champlain. Contact your local marina for more information.

Finally, several cottage and boating associations in Ontario that collaborate with Parks Canada will distribute the promotional 2 for 1 coupon. Contact your local recreational or sport association to see if they are participating in the initiative.
