Nepean One Design (NOD) Regatta, 27-28 June

The Nepean Sailing Club’s highly anticipated annual Nepean One Design Regatta (NOD presents an exhilarating celebration of skill, camaraderie, and the thrill of competitive sailing. This regatta promises a weekend filled with adrenaline-pumping races, seasoned sailors showcasing their expertise, and a vibrant community united by a shared passion for the sport.

Multiple racecourses

NYC held its One Design Regatta for keelboats in 1992 for Kirby 25 boats. By 1993 there were multiple One Design fleets competing at this regatta. The tradition has continued unbroken* since. In recent years, NOD hosts 50 to 90 dinghies and keelboats in six to nine fleets, on multiple simultaneous race courses.

The J/80 Fleet

NOD 2026 is open to all boats from the following fleets: Laser 28, C&C 27, J/22, J/24, J/80, Martin 16, Shark, Tanzer 22, Viper 640, Fireball, 505 and ILCA. In addition NOD 2026 is currently planning to host the following regional and national championships J/24 Canadian Championship, J/22 Canadian Championship, and C&C-27 Ontario Championship.
