The Award—winning Waterways with Steven Bull explores just about every aspect of boats and boating including safety, boating destinations and more.

You can catch the show Water Ways: Ontario on Global TV – the Ontario Series, the first of a planned rollout of regional shows, with BC and Florida next on the list takes deeper dives in regions with locally-relevant tips and staycation inspiration. 

 The Ontario series Season 1 is running currently with emphasis with lots of exploring plus interviews key people who influence our boating and natural resources.  Episode 7 runs this Saturday but you want to catch up on that series, it debuts with four episodes on YouTube tomorrow, December 7.

Then, beginning in January, The 13-episode Season 2, which initially aired in 2023/2024 is re-running on Sportsman Channel Canada starting in January.  It will also air on World Fishing Network during the same 13-weeks of Jan/Feb/Mar.   It will also air on WildTV. Season 2 is currently available on YouTube. 

Then – more! A brand new Season 3 of Water Ways TV debuts on these same channels running in April/May/June

There’s lots to enjoy and it’s all boating.

Tahiti—Updates from Paradise

I’ve been to Tahiti seven times—six on charter and once as crew for a couple of yachties. Over the 25 years that I’ve been visiting, it’s changed dramatically. Yet, inexplicably, it has also stayed the same.

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:
