Yacht builder Hanse Yachts recently shipped its 10,000th yacht. Hanse delivered its new 458 to Bremerhaven for shipment by cargo vessel to the new owner in New Zealand. Delivering #10,000 marks a milestone for the Greifswald based builder.

The new Hanse 458 has a unique design and category leading performance metrics. A classic but exquisite interior, Hanse allows unique customization through its unique configurator with 2 layouts. The Hanse 458 has twin wheels aft, double fractional, swept spreader rig with outboard mounts chain plates.

This is an amazing achievement for the firm founded in 1990 by Michael Schmidt, the world class helmsman and racing sailor that had many titles to his credit including an Admiral’s cup win.

The Hanse brand is well known here in Canada. Pat Sturgeon was one of the first dealers here along with Olympian Hans Fogh who was impressed with the boat’s lines, great handling and the design aspects brought forward by Judel &Vrolijk.

Canadian Dealers include Freedom Marine, Vancouver, and Pat Sturgeon Yachts, Toronto.
