Fifth Annual – Crate’s Belleville Hearty Soup Contest 2019

Crates Soup

Jan 24, 2019

It has become tradition at Crate’s and we welcome everyone again on Saturday, February 16 from 11am – 3pm at Showroom at Crate’s, 5 Dundas St West Belleville, Ontario! To change things up we have decided to also make it a skating party so lace up!

If you were one of the fortunate ones that made it out last year to our fourth annual cook-off you would have been witness to some of the best soups around. With the beautiful ice in the harbor we are also going to have a rink setup with our fire pit going and hot chocolate on hand. If this years’ competition is anything like last year we are in for a treat, so insure you are creative with your crock pot.

If you are new to the marina or were not able to make it last year, here’s your chance to be a part of our Fifth annual cook-off. Bring your crock pot filled with your favorite recipe, a pair of skates, hockey sticks and an appetite for a chance to win one of three prizes from our ships store.

Tables will be set up in the showroom with hydro for you to plug in and heat up your winning soup! The fire pit will be nice and warm outside with hot chocolate being served on the ice. Everyone is Welcome, you do not have to enter the contest, you do not have to skate or bring anything let’s just have a good time.

Everyone is a judge, everyone can vote, there is only one rule…  you must not vote for your own bowl of soup….

Beverages will be provided – Please tell all your fellow boaters and RSVP so we can plan appropriately.
