Toronto International Boat Show 60th Anniversary

Nov 9, 2017

Since 1959, the Toronto Boat Show has grown exponentially to become North America’s largest indoor boat show featuring world class displays, 550 exhibitors and more than 1,200 boats from 6ft to 51ft for visitors to see and board. Exhibitor spaces are sold-out with all the major boat dealers from across Canada getting ready to showcase the latest boat innovations alongside manufacturer representatives who will be on hand to provide knowledgeable product information. Visitors also can shop for marine accessories at the Mariners Marketplace and get summer-ready with outdoor gear, toys and décor at Cottage Country.

In addition to new products (more than any other show in Canada), boaters can look forward to an exciting new slate of programming and educational seminars. Talk one-on-one with how-to experts at The Boathouse, discover new boating destinations to plan your next trip, or register for a hands-on workshop on boat maintenance. The Toronto Boat Show has a feature for every type of boater to enjoy from SailFest to the Great Canadian Fish Tank and Antique & Classic Boats. There’s also plenty of programming on the presentation stages with more than 250 seminars and workshops on variety of topics.

New this year, the Toronto International Boat Show is pleased to host Mercy Ships Canada, an international charity that operates the largest floating hospital ship in the world, providing free health care to those without access in the developing world. Come meet and be inspired by some of the doctors, nurses, crew and volunteers who are making a difference. The indoor Lake will also feature new water trends such as the debut of Stand Up Paddle Polo and Kayak Polo; and celebrity guest, Baywatch and Survivor reality star Brenda Lowe, will be demonstrating stand up paddle boarding and meeting fans on opening weekend.

The Pursuit S 268 Sport centre console is a do-it-all kind of boat with a solid sense of style. Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

(l to r) Holly, Adam, Pat, Ron, Shelley

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON.
