New IOD at South Shore Marine

IOD

June 20, 2017

June is a busy month for every boatyard and South Shore Marine is no exception. While the yard concentrates on the work at hand they have put their new IOD, Zephyr II, outside to await finishing touches.

Yard owner Shawn Mulrooney says there has been plenty of interest but, as yet, no buyer. Shawn plans to complete the boat in time for some summer racing and Chester Race Week. The local IOD fleet has been growing lately, helped in part by the success of Nova Scotia crews in racing in New England and Bermuda. GC
