Boat Shop

June 5, 2016

While studying commerce at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Chris LeBlanc found a useful sideline maintaining and repairing boats and motors. At first it was just for friends and family, but he soon found a growing demand for his services. In 2008 Chris founded The Boat Shop Ltd. and the business grew quickly. So quickly that Chris’ father suggested he perhaps get a location that was not also the family home. In 2012 Chris moved to his present site and now has a team of 7 repairing, maintaining and restoring powerboats up 35ft. With room for winter storage for up to 100 boats, the crew can tackle all aspects of boat servicing from fibreglass repairs to electrical and engine.

The Boat Shop is located in Glen Haven, not far from Halifax and convenient for boaters in the St. Margarets Bay area.
