Sold your boat and still want to stay involved with racing or just want to learn more about sailboat racing and how races are conducted? Here is your chance.

Club Race Officer:  February 20-21, 2-16

Sydney North Saanich Yacht Club is currently looking to organize a group of individuals interested in participating in the wonderfully satisfying fraternity of race committee. This is a great opportunity for experienced and inexperienced alike. If you are interested you can join in the upcoming Assistant Race Officer and Club Race Officer course’s, where fun happens naturally when race management is priority number 1.

Spotted! Canadian Boating in Antigua & Barbuda

I wore my Canadian Boating cap everywhere I went in Antigua, for the sun, not for the shout-outs. But I sure received a lot of them.

Antigua Sailing Week is an international regatta that draws sailors of every level and spectators from all over the world. Yet I couldn’t walk across a room without being hailed by a Canadian who was as excited to see my cap as they were to see the racing. I met many who were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit.
