No one wants an expensive or time consuming mistake in the spring when you bring your boat out of storage. Avoid that by not making these boat winterizing mistakes. In this video Sean Horsfall of Len’s Cove Marina covers:

1:10 – Fuel/fuel tank mistakes 2:24 – Not doing oil, filter and other lubricant changes 2:59 – Leaving the hull drain plug in 3:34 – Not draning the engine and other components 4:28 – Leaving damp items on board during storage 5:10 – Letting your battery discharge 5:41 – Leaving your cover to handle the snow load.
