Surprise wins Melges 24 Canadian Championship

Team Surprise from MCC, including Dan Berezin, Misha Mayevsky, Denys Kalchenko, Alex Kapustin and Callum Ruch, repeated their 2025 dominance winning the 2026 Melges 24 Canadian Championship, held June 11-14 in Halifax.

Gambler from RNSYS (Ryan Gallant, John Muir, Lindsay Gallant, Jeremy Benoit and Rayanne Lewis) took the 2nd position, and Team Rush from South Port Sailing Club (Graham Noakes, Mike Gozzard, Alan Johnson, Matt Abbott and Robin Gozzard), the 3rd spot. A total of 10 teams took part in the event.
