Décès de David Yule

C’est avec une grande tristesse que Voile Canada partage avec la communauté de voile canadienne le décès de son ancien président David Yule.

Membre du Royal Canadian Yacht Club, David a été président de Voile Canada (auparavant connu sous le nom de l’Association canadienne de yachting) en 1978 et en 1979.

Son implication dans le sport inclut sa participation au défi Canada One America’s Cup ainsi que dans la première candidature olympique de Toronto.

« Au nom de la communauté de Voile Canada, j’aimerais offrir nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de David Yule », a déclaré la présidente du conseil d’administration de Voile Canada, Kate MacLennan. « La voile était l’une des nombreuses implications bénévoles de David, et nous désirons le remercier pour tout ce qu’il a fait pour notre sport. »
