The Moorings has announced the upcoming debut of its acclaimed Power yacht vacations in Zea, Greece.

Just 15 minutes from Athens, Zea is an ideal departure point for a private cruise through Greece’s Saronic Gulf. On a Moorings Power catamaran, charterers can travel with timesaving speed from stops like Cape Sounion Bay to Poros, Spetses, Epidaurus and more.

Debuting in June 2016 and available to book now, the all-new Moorings 434PC is a mid-size catamaran ideal for families or groups of up to 10 guests. This state-of-the-art yacht features a surprisingly spacious interior with four double cabins and two en-suite bathrooms. A well-appointed galley sits forward in the saloon with a settee/table located aft. Sliding glass doors open to the aft cockpit, providing increased ventilation and easy communication between the interior and exterior. Above, an elevated fly bridge offers stunning views with ample seating, grill and wet bar.

The Moorings 474PC will also be available in Zea with charters set to start in April of 2016. Ready to book now, this stylish yacht blends powerful performance with premium accommodations for up to 12 passengers. Highlights include four en-suite staterooms, air conditioning throughout the interior, a full entertainment center in the saloon and an elevated fly bridge with ample seating for everyone aboard.

Charters will begin at The Moorings’ base in the Zea Marina. This sprawling facility offers an array of waterside shops and restaurants, while nearby Piraeus plays home to plenty of museums and monuments worth exploring. When cruising from Zea, guests are free to explore on their own terms or follow The Moorings’ suggested itinerary—a seven-day voyage to must-see stops like the Temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion Bay; the beautiful Bekiri Cave (which you can actually swim inside) on the island of Spetses; ancient Acropolis and more.

“Greece reveals a whole new side of itself when you explore this beautiful country by sea. We saw this as an exciting opportunity to show the potential of our Power yacht charters,” said Josie Tucci, General Manager for The Moorings. “With speed and freedom on their side, our guests can now go farther and see more on a vacation in the Saronic Gulf.

Charters in Zea aboard The Moorings 434PC and 474PC are available for reservation now. Power yacht charters are also available in Corfu, Greece; Agana, Croatia (which will also welcome the 434PC next summer); Fethiye, Turkey and additional destinations throughout the Caribbean, the Americas and the Far East.

The Best of Two Worlds

By Mathew Channer

Interior British Columbia might not be as famous for recreational boating as Canada’s Great Lakes, yet it is no less a world-class boating destination. The mountains offer their own flavour of marine adventure with their series of long, deep ribbon lakes, and there is perhaps no area that embodies this more uniquely than the iconic Okanagan basin in southern B.C. One could be forgiven for assuming this valley was purpose-built for nautical fun, with a few delightful perks thrown in to make the area entirely irresistible (wine-tasting, anyone?).
