Sealine to Launch the F380 at the Dusseldorf Boat Show

Sealine F380

Sealine will be unveiling their new F380 flybridge motor yacht at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January. Following on from the success of the award winning F450, this new model offers more space than any other cruiser in this size range currently on the market. With their innovative design features Sealine has maximised the use of space
and light throughout whilst also providing complete flexible living areas above and below decks.

The signature wrap around windscreen offers 360 degree panoramic views from the saloon and there are double seats at both the lower and upper helm for social cruising.
A port side sofa provides versatile seating and storage, movable for maximizing the floor space available. To the starboard there is a dining table for six which converts to create an occasional double berth. The well-equipped mid-level galley connects to the saloon to provide a social environment and has plenty of light from the large opening port light. There is also a seamless connection from the saloon, via sliding patio door, to the wide cockpit.

There are two cabins with the forward master cabin having its own en-suite with a separate shower area. Skylights add another dimension to this luxuriously appointed cabin. The two berth mid cabin easily converts into a double berth, offering maximum flexibility for family and friends with plenty of light from the oversized portlight. The day head with shower completes this spacious accommodation area. Both cabins are packed with clever storage solutions.

The versatile flybridge offers a number of different seating and sunbathing arrangements. The double helm seat has a movable backrest to allow aft facing seating when dining and socialising. There is also a fold up backrest to
starboard to allow for a further forward facing seat. Aft there is seating for 6-8 guests around the table which
can be replaced for sunbathing.

The cockpit is equally versatile with an optional seating module for social seating in the cockpit or aft face seating on the swimming platform.

The proven hull design offers excellent sea keeping and handling characteristics. Power is provided by a choice of
sterndrive diesel engines from Volvo Penta, with and without joy stick control. Large fuel and water tanks, generous storage in the lazerette and a large storage bin under the saloon help to make this an ideal cruising boat. The F380 is a perfect entry level flybridge offering space, light and versatility.

Paving the Way to Cleaner Boating – How a Commitment to Reducing our Environmental Impact is Inspiring Cleaner Boating in Ontario

By Dave Rozycki

Over the past seven decades, Ontario’s marina industry has developed alongside some of Canada’s largest freshwater lakes. Boaters have been able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and create lasting memories on the water, with certain marinas dating back to the 1960s. As we reflect on this rich history, we can begin to see trends in how our footprint may have had an effect on the environment, in not-so-positive ways. However, by embracing innovative solutions and adopting sustainable practices, both marinas and boaters hold the key to preserving and enhancing the quality of our lakes and marine life for generations to come.
