The Canada Games Sailing events wrapped up on August 4thin Gimli, Manitoba, with Nova Scotia sailors winning three medals. Cameron Shaw and Justin Timmins took Gold inMens 29er, Lauren Sullivan won a silver medal in Radial, and Sobhan MacDonald earned a bronze in 2.4mR.

Finishing in 4th place in the Laser event was Spencer Dalzell while Emily Roy and Sophie Carter were 5th in the Female 29er. The team was coached by Lisa Ross and Max Flinn.

A great showing by a great team!

Sailing made its first appearance on the Canada Games schedule at the 1969 Canada Summer Games in Halifax-Dartmouth.
