Keeping Diesel Fuel Clean Part II – Filters

You will eventually get water into your diesel fuel tank. Could be condensation, a leaky filler tube or from the marina where you fuel up. It is not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’. Craig Morley explains the purpose and selection of the correct fuel filter and it’s proper maintenance, so you are prepared when the inevitable happens. Craig is a certified marine surveyor, diesel technician and is certified by ABYC. We caught up with Craig at a Diesel Maintenance workshop he was conducting at the Mimico Cruising Club in Mississauga, ON.
