The Guysborough Sailing Club is pleased to announce three new programs for this season, and one new great boat!

Classy Lassie is a 32-foot Paceship yacht, fully set up for overnight cruising. Shesleeps 5 in the cabin and another two in the cockpit under the stars.

Classy LassieBasic Cruising is the gold standard introduction course for those who want to become serious sailors. New this year, it will be taught by veteran sailor Grant Gordon. Classy Lassie will carry sailors into Chedabucto Bay to learn their moves!

“Sailing as Healing” is a new program, combining the hands-on skills of the Start Keelboat Sailing for Women course, and activities designed to support participants in their journey to grow personally. To whom would this program appeal?

Sailing School Students• Women who are a choice point in their lives and seek a new way to look at themselves and their lives.
• Women wanting to explore and develop new ways to be effective in their lives when challenges arise.
• Women struggling with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety.
• Women wanting to enhance their self confidence, self esteem and independence.
