AdvanTec Global Innovations Marine Division  has announced an addition to their Business Development Team.

Brandon Reid assumes the role of Business Development Manager. Coming from the marine equipment sales industry with a wealth of experience and contacts, Reid will be responsible for cementing and growing AdvanTec’s presence in Eastern Canada and the U.S.

“Brandon comes to us with an impressive set of capabilities and experience and is already quite familiar with the products AdvanTec manufactures. Previously working with Beclawat Manufacturing, Brandon brings a different perspective to our team which we believe will have an immediate impact as well as support our ongoing growth in key markets,” said AdvanTec’s VP Sales Marine Group, Matt Kirby.

“Brandon’s ability to create strong relationships, technical knowledge of the industry and background in strategic marketing will significantly increase our presence in Eastern Canada and the U.S. while also strengthening our core business,” added Kirby.

Living and operating out of Belleville, Ontario, Reid loves to help people whether it be mentoring at the local college or volunteering at community events. “I enjoy networking at social and business events because I find it very rewarding to build new relationships and learn from everyone I meet,” Reid says about himself. Having started his career in manufacturing before moving to sales and business development, technical innovation of products and the manufacturing process are a passion of Reid’s.

In his spare time Reid enjoys fishing for bass and salmon, barbecuing, vegetable farming and hiking. He is also an avid baseball fan and is currently excited for the potential to see his favourite team the Toronto Blue Jays make the playoffs for the first time since he became a fan.
