This is September’s photo of the month!

What do you think is happening in this picture? Looks like two people jumping off ship and one diving head first straight into it, interesting illusion isn’t it? Submitted to us by Carolyn Wood, this photo was taken by Pat Gillies at Port Elgin as they were entering the harbour on their CS30. This photo shows some young people jumping off the north pier as their boat passed them. Using a long lens and compressing the image gives the illusion that they were jumping off ship!
