Call for online tutors to assist in the delivery of CPS-ECP Boating courses

Call for Online Tutors

Squadrons for Coast to Coast have taken up the challenge of delivering the CPS-ECP Boating Series of courses online during these challenging times. 
 
While some Squadrons have the instructor recourses and local student to deliver courses to thier own members, others are joining with the Education Department’s Outreach team to deliver online courses to broader audiences, particularly non CPS-ECP members.  While there are differences in the way some of the course delivery is organized each course has a Host Squadron, responsible for the delivering the weekly session, and each attempt to engage tutors who reside close to where the registering students live.  Tutors support the student in dealing with some of the topics best taught one-on-one (e.g., tying knots, using a chart plotter).  
 
If you are a CPS-ECP instructor, have access to the internet and an interest in supporting the online education program at this time, please contact Barry Smith (Western Canada) or Tom Beaver (Eastern Canada) and they will add you to our reserve list for a specific course or courses with which you have experience.
