A mainstay event for recreational boaters in the Ottawa Region returns this February.

It might be the middle of winter – but if you find yourself daydreaming of sunny days out on the water, mark your calendar for February 20-23 at the EY Centre in Ottawa, where the Ottawa Boat Show will be offering up a taste of summer.

Returning with the region’s top dealers under one roof, the show will be a boater’s dream with everything from cruisers and pontoons, to fishing boats, personal watercraft, and more. Whether it’s speed boating, fishing, or getting out with the whole family on a pontoon, the show is a prime chance to see the latest models built for your specific needs. Plus, additional products like docks, canoes and kayaks, towables, and gear are also on display at some of the best prices of the year.

Curious about some of the talent you’ll see onstage? For one, your host is “Big Jim” McLaughlin, renowned tournament champion and publisher of “JUST FISHING” magazine. The line-up of expert anglers sharing advice and pro tips will include David Chong, Cara Carmichael, and Steve Barnett, to name a few. In addition, a boating stage with another line-up of experts will discuss topics relevant to making the most of your time on the water – including a presentation on the history and features of the Rideau Canal system.
