The Big Picture: Team Asterias + Some Guy

At the Heineken St. Maarten Regatta last week, this crew of only four guys from Royal Vancouver YC – Hart Buck, Michael Vermette, John Sandrelli, and Chris Ramsay – had a stellar performance placing third in Bareboat 1. Three of the four had never even raced before. The fifth person in the photo (with cigar) is apparently a musician/blogger from Estonia who jumped aboard for the final race and fit in perfectly.

The photo was taken by Canadian Yachting Associate Editor Allegra Smith-Herriott on (delightful) assignment.
