POTW: Marc Gets Important Award!!

Marc Robic Flag

Mar 27, 2025

Our Photo of the Week comes from the sunshine of BVI where Montrealer and frequent Canadian Boating contributor, Marc Robic, is enjoying a well deserved vacay. He sent this clearly delighted photo celebrating his honour as one of Rum Runner’s top fans.

Rum Runner is a guy that goes from boat to boat in Gorda Sound, or can be hailed via VHF channel 72, and come to your moored boat on a Zodiac. The delivery helps you enjoy the BVI warmth with their homemade frozen rum drinks. Also known for Drake, the Dog, that accompanies his master, Jim.

We have added a shot of the delivery process, complete with Drake, the dog!

We’d love to have your shots too. Please send them along to onboard@kerrwil.com and add POTW in the subject line.  Thanks!

One could be forgiven for assuming this valley was purpose-built for nautical fun, with a few delightful perks thrown in to make the area entirely irresistible (wine-tasting, anyone?).
