CanBoat / NautiSavoir Awards 2026

It’s that time again! And this year you might know someone who has gone to extraordinary lengths for CanBoat / NautiSavoir. Don’t let this recognition go unawarded because a deserving volunteer was not nominated.

The Board would like to thank and recognize all our volunteers. All the eligible awards for 2025 are:

  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Officer of the Year
  • Instructor of the Year
  • Electronic Course Instructor of the Year
  • RVCC of the Year (Squadron and District)
  • Squadron of the Year
  • District of the Year
  • The Star Award for the squadron for New Membership,
  • The Bell Trophy for the district for membership renewals
  • Squadron New Memberships (Star Trophy), and the District Membership (membership renewals).

The first three are open for nominations:  

  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Instructor of the Year
  • Officer of the Year

The rest of the awards will be determined by statistics and results.

The overall winner in these categories will be celebrated in our November 29, 2025virtual AGM.

We all know someone deserving and this is a special way for all of us to say, “THANK YOU!”

A new fillable Nomination form can be found on the CanBoat / NautiSavoir website under – My Member’s Area; 02, Our Organization; Awards; CPS-ECP Awards: Description and Applications. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NOMINATIONS MUST BE SENT TO HQG@CPS-ECP.CA.


Nominations must be submitted by the end of the day, November 11, 2025 to the National CanBoat / NautiSavoir Office at hqg@cps-ecp.ca.

Please, get your nominations in on time, so we can recognize the dedication of so many volunteers to our organization.

Spotted! Canadian Boating in Antigua & Barbuda

I wore my Canadian Boating cap everywhere I went in Antigua, for the sun, not for the shout-outs. But I sure received a lot of them.

Antigua Sailing Week is an international regatta that draws sailors of every level and spectators from all over the world. Yet I couldn’t walk across a room without being hailed by a Canadian who was as excited to see my cap as they were to see the racing. I met many who were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit.
