POTW: Enthused

Photo of the Week

May 8, 2025

These hard-working guys are gathered on the bow to remind you that it’s time to start shooting Photo of the Week shots.

Although this one came from our editor, the rest of them come from YOU.  The POTW shot can be anything boating related, dockside fish and chips shacks, cool boats, cool passengers, signs, sunsets and general waterfront beauty shots.

Keep your phone and camera handy, then send your shots to onboard@kerrwil.com and put POTW in the subject line. Tell us about you, the photographer, where it was taken, boat info…everything

We are standing by for your photos.

Spotted! Canadian Boating in Antigua & Barbuda

By Mathew Channer

I wore my Canadian Boating cap everywhere I went in Antigua, for the sun, not for the shout-outs. But I sure received a lot of them.

Antigua Sailing Week is an international regatta that draws sailors of every level and spectators from all over the world. Yet I couldn’t walk across a room without being hailed by a Canadian who was as excited to see my cap as they were to see the racing. I met many who were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit.
