POTW: Summer Perfection – a Molson Moment

Scott Horslin ,his partner Polly and their pooch June boat out of Moose Deer Point Marina on 12 Mile Bay, an inlet on the eastern coast of Georgian Bay just south of Parry Sound.

“In this pic, we are anchored on Canada Day, in Wani Bay at the mouth of 12 Mile Bay and the small craft route, a popular location for Moose Deer boaters. 

More on the boat: “My boat is a 1990 38 Carver Santego dbl cabin. 

I owned/bought this boat in 2015 or so…but sold her 8 years ago w regret…

I repurchased her in the fall of 2025, and am so thrilled to have her back!! 

I’ve owned three Chris Craft boats…26’ 35’ and 38’ ; three Searays…30’ 32’ and 33’ ;and 2 Carvers 32’ & 38’ (twice).
