Bryton Marine Group, North America’s largest private family-owned builder of aluminum boats, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Freshwater Marina located in Campbell River, BC, effective April 16. Freshwater Marina, known for its exceptional services and facilities,

will now operate under the Bryton Marine Group umbrella. This acquisition aligns with Bryton Marine Group’s long-term objective to build the most premium aluminum boats and compliments EagleCraft Boats’ manufacturing capacity expansion strategy.

Founded in 1985 in Campbell River, British Columbia, EagleCraft Boats is a premier builder of premium quality custom aluminum boats. With roots in commercial boatbuilding, EagleCraft began by crafting sport fishing lodge boats, passenger vessels, workboats, and patrol boats for the rugged waters of the West Coast. 

Bryton Marine Group is a diversified group of marine manufacturers specializing in aluminum boats ranging from 14ft to 150ft. Their well-known brands serve commercial, government, recreational sportfishing, and adventure boat markets in North America. “We are very excited about this acquisition,” said Byron Bolton, CEO of Bryton Marine Group. “This investment in Campbell River reinforces our commitment to the community and further aligns with our purpose to enrich local and maritime communities for future generations.”
