Suzuki Canada to Support Able Sail Toronto and Mobility Cup Events through 2026!

Suzuki Canada is proud to announce its sponsorship of Able Sail Toronto and Mobility Cup events for the next three sailing seasons. Able Sail is a registered charity that is managed by – and for – people who live with disabilities, offering access to the sport of sailing using specially adapted sailboats.

Sponsorship includes safety/coach boat and trailer package

Through the sponsorship, Suzuki Canada will provide essential equipment that will allow the program to run safely and efficiently throughout the summer season. This equipment includes a Great Lakes 460 Inflatable Boat by Melocraft, completely rigged with Suzuki accessories and a Suzuki DF40ATL Ultimate Outboard ready for the water.

  • The boat and outboard package will be used in programs and events that are run by Able Sail in Toronto during the summer season 2024, 2025 and 2026.
  • This boat and outboard package will also be used to run Able Sail’s annual Mobility Cup events held in Nova Scotia in 2024 and Quebec in 2025.

Able Sail Toronto’s season opener celebrated

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, Able Sail Toronto celebrated the 2024 Season Opener at the National Yacht Club in Toronto. This event highlights how sailing is made accessible for all. As Sponsors of Able Sail Toronto, representatives of Suzuki Canada, including company President Bill Porter were present to share in the excitement.
