A note from Bruce Kemp

When: April 6, 3:30-5:30pm

Where: The Merchant Tap House, 6 Princess St., Kingston

So, it’s spring already. Sailors are crawling out of their warm hibernation and boats are being prepped to go into the water. Along with boatyard work, a few jars of the good gargle never go amiss, so join us on April 6 between 3:30 – 5:30, to share a jar or two and sing some old favourites to get you in the mood for the coming season.

Yours truly has been invited to MC the event (poor sods don’t know what they’re getting themselves into) and lend my voice to a few of the songs. There will be a few musicians to cover me up, so it won’t be too painful. It’s going to be a fun afternoon with good companions and all proceeds will go to the brigantine St. Lawrence II and their exceptional program.
