Re: Range Anxiety Attack – Feb 8

Hi John

We are contemplating electrification on our coast here. I have an off the grid place on an Island; I can’t even charge my lawnmower, or chainsaw battery.

We have a plan to install a charging station over on Bowen Island which does have hydro.

The good news is that most marinas have 15/30/50 amp shore power at each berth, so not a problem for the most part. Onboard solar panel could augment charging.

Battery capacity is the key and carmakers are spending vast sums on that technology.

Re Andy Adams inducted into the NMMA Canada Hall of Fame – Feb 8

Great to hear of Andy Adams being welcomed into the NMMA hall of fame but it would have been nice to know what on Earth NMMA stands for?
