Holiday Greetings from CPS-ECP

Holiday Greetings

Dec 21, 2023

I am confident to say that 2023 was a year of communication. Achievements in this area include the monthly publication of the Waypoint newsletter for officers, with everyone encouraged to share its information with all members. In addition, reports and informative documents were promptly published on the website for members to peruse, be they financial statements, workshops, meeting minutes or others.

The national meetings brought together various committees together in a single location to break down silo work and harmonize interventions. These meetings were held in hybrid mode, with in-person attendance and webcasting, so members who could not travel could attend.

The 2023-2025 action plan was implemented as soon as the Board adopted it, so some of its objectives have already been achieved.

The branding study was initiated last year with the help of Tennis, a specialized firm. It has been carefully and thoughtfully planned and is well underway.

Further changes are in store when the Board receives the reports of the two committees studying the organization’s governance and structures.

Everyone contributes to the organization’s life at their level, in their committee or department.

Yet everyone needs to put their work on hold and enjoy the festive season with their families.

I wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a healthy and rewarding 2024.

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
