Kincardine Harbour on a Calm, Slightly Foggy Night.

Oct 12, 2023

This beautiful shot comes from David Bannister who resides in Kincardine. The nearly 150 year old lighthouse landmark is at top left.

This past summer was our first trip to the North Channel with Unsalted – a 1991 Nordic Tug 32 that we just acquired in December of last year, although we have made the trip more than a dozen times on our 35 foot C&C sailboat. We recently switched to the trawler.

“I am a photographer and painter among other things (my image is on the cover of PORTS for Lake Huron, etc.). I have given presentations to Power Squadron on cruising the North Channel starting this year and have begun instructing there as well on introductory boating.”

You too can be a famous photographer by sending your photos to or POTW mailbox.  Boating shots of any sort – kids, pets, signs, ports, sunsets etc. etc.  Just send your shots onboard@kerrwil.com and put POTW in the subject line please.  Looking forward to seeing yours!

Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
