The Elevator Lift is the solution for owners who want the benefits of out-of-water boat storage, but either can’t have or don’t want piles installed on their waterfront. And with recent engineering enhancements, the lift has new configurations and capacities that make it even more adaptable for everything from a PWC to an offshore sportfish boat.

The Golden Elevator Lift installs on seawalls, embankments or concrete piers, as well as on shoreline wood and steel piles. The lift is manufactured for both the specific location requirements—such as length of travel and angle of installation—as well as the boat itself. Depending on the overall and distributed weight of the vessel, the lift can have a single, two or four tracks. The enhancements include dual-track 24,000 and 27,000 lb. capacity models and a new four-track, 60,000 lb. version.

Golden manufactures the CE-approved Elevator Lift to ISO 9001:2015 standards using only fully welded 6061 T6 marine grade aluminum with 300 series stainless steel fittings and sacrificial zinc anodes. A robust box construction mates the track beam and drive connection. Heavy-duty UV-rated Nylatron wheels on stainless equalizer brackets provide exceptionally smooth operation, especially with heavier vessels.

Important for a vessel of any weight, custom bunking on the Elevator Lift ensures the hull is fully supported and doesn’t cause strain. Carpeted wood or optional aluminum bunks installer-adjust to accommodate a wide range of shapes such as deep-V, steps and/or strakes, as well as inboard and outboard power. A video is here:

Sailing into the Future at Antigua Sailing Week

By Mathew Channer

“Standby tack,” Canadian sailor Katy Campbell orders. The crew scrambles over the sheet lines and braces on the deck.

“Three, two, one, tack!”

I wait until the bow turns into the wind and the headsail snaps over, then crawl over the cabin top of Panacea X to the now windward side. The trim team smoothly sheets on the headsail and a competitor vessel shoots past our stern, feet away, as our Solana 45 beats eastward along Antigua’s south coast.
