Did You Know That Toronto Has an Underground City?

AGM

May 26, 2022

While you are staying at the Sheraton Hotel you will be connected to an indoor pedestrian mall called The Path which covers over 30kms of walkway and is spread over 27 tunnels. Loaded with fantastic eateries, restaurants, shops and services, Toronto’s underground city is the world’s largest underground shopping complex. It’s a great place to explore in inclement weather and is fully accessible. The Path connects users to transit stations allowing for movement around the downtown without going outside. To visit the popular CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium or Roger’s Center the connection is not continuous and there is a short outside walk after exiting. There is direct access to the Hockey Hall of Fame, Air Canada Center, Roy Thompson Hall and The Eaton’s Center. Maps of The Path are available online and we will have printed maps available for all attendees at the conference. Easily use the subway stations connected to The Path and jump over to the Royal Ontario Museum, Art Gallery of Ontario, China Town or many other wonderful destinations.

If you are traveling to the Sheraton Hotel by VIA or GO train, there is a Path connection to Union Station which is the main transit hub for Toronto. The Up Express subway from Pearson International Airport also stops at Union Station. The Path walk from Union Station to the hotel is 10 minutes. We are looking forward to crossing paths with you at the National AGM in Toronto this October. Register here!
