Meet our brand new sister publication Sailing in Canada. This new digest, the perfect complement to CYOB, will concentrate on the sailing side of our passion for boats bringing you the Canadian viewpoint on everything from kids in Optis to the Canada’s Cup. From Sharks to offshore racing to cruising with confidence. We will be producing this twice-monthly digest with the same fresh approach that you have told us you love in CYOB, adding the expertise of Sail Canada, the national governing body for the sport of sailing in the country.

Our focus will begin with covering the country from Martin 242s on the west coast to the Bluenose hotshots in Nova Scotia. We will cover Canadians competing around the world and at their regional regattas, even the around-the cans action on Wednesday night after work.

Whether you’re a new sailor or old salt, we will aim to make the read enjoyable every time with the news from Sail Canada’s national athletes and results from your club on your lake. In each issue, we will bring specific information for people who want to up their game – sail trim experts, tactics and rules geniuses, new tech gear, the latest navigation and electronics for making it happens. Add in the ultimate sailing photos from Canada’s foremost photographer, Sharon Green, and much, much more.

All this is free – all you need do is click here and sign up. Sailing in Canada only goes to those who request it, so now’s the time.

Last thing – one design fleets, club handicap racers, organizers, performance cruisers and everyone else is invited to send us your news and views at sailingincanada@kerrwil.com. This is for you and it’s going to be fun beginning on January 5. And did I mention – it’s free!!!!.
