POTW: A pot of gold in Gananoque

Gananoque Rainbow

Sept 24, 2020

Graham and Diane Segger spent 18 days sailing from Toronto’s Mimico Cruising Club to the Thousand Islands this August. They spent 15 days at anchor and three evenings in harbour, one of which was August 18 when they sheltered from some unsettled weather in Gananoque Municipal Marina. Graham created this Photo of the Week panorama rainbow shot with his iPhone X from the stern of their Catalina 400, Soulstice after the system blew through.

There was actually a second double rainbow above the principal one but it did not come out as clearly in the photo.

Time for you to send in your photos. If it’s boat related, we want it. Rainbows, kids, lighthouses, funny signs or boat names, people on board. Send your shots to cyonboard@kerrwil.com and please put POTW in the subject line, like Graham Segger did!! Thanks, Graham.

Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
