What Plan? Your Plan

CPS Plan

Apr 25, 2019

Much of what the Planning Committee does is reliant on the reports from the Priority Leaders of our Strategic Plan as to the implementation of the Goals as we move forward. The Educational Department has been particularly constant in its reporting.

During the weekend of the National Spring Educational Meeting, we heard many presentations and comments on the way this Department is helping to keep up the momentum as we go through the 4th year of the Plan.

Brian Reis reporting on Goal #2 which refers to Seminars and short Courses, states “I’m really happy with the way Squadrons have come on board”. On Goal #3 referring to the development of new shorter Courses and Seminars, Brian states “We are moving along at a steady rate. We have a multi-stage editorial process that may seem cumbersome, but it is necessary, and seminars are sharing it with our core courses. If we can produce seminars at the current rate, we’ll be in good shape. The fact that the Squadrons are for the most part on board with us is very helpful”. These statements are really encouraging, and prove these goals are on the right track and are doing what we planned they would do.

Also during this Meeting, the Membership Committee combined in a workshop with the Educational group to determine how to blend in efforts to lead the students towards membership, with Course content/material. The suggestions that came from this forum will be studied and shared and hopefully will result in some meaningful changes.

We will soon be looking towards an outline for our next 5 year Plan, and while it is realized that some items in our current plan will be ongoing and never actually complete, we will be looking ahead to the future direction of our Organization. Your Planning Committee welcomes any and all input from our members. As has been said many times – we are all in it together!

Centre console designs have been developed for the southern blue water sport fishing enthusiasts (and this boat would raise fish with the best of them) but the Pursuit S 268 Sport centre console offers far more utility and enjoyment than just fishing.

Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
