Jan 24, 2019

Chief Commander Chuck Beall made some special presentations during the annual Staff Christmas Lunch on December 14, 2018.

Lynda Green, was presented with a plaque acknowledging her 30 years of service to CPS-ECP! Her work extends to many individuals in the organization including course material orders, Ship’s Store, volunteers, new members and student services. CPS-ECP has benefitted greatly from having Lynda on its National Office staff.

John Gullick, Manager of Government and Special Programs also celebrated his 20th Anniversary with CPS-ECP. John handles many programmes that include ROC(M), PCOC, Recreational Vessel Courtesy Checks, plus Safety Equipment Education and Flare Disposal Days to name a few. John is also a regular contributor to The Port Hole with his popular column called Just Ask John.

Alice Hinton received a Chief Commander’s Citation in appreciation for her return to the National Office after a brief retirement. Alice retired in August of 2017 from her full-time accounting position with CPS-ECP, but came back on a part-time/temporary basis in 2018 to help out during the busy time of our year. With a subsequent change of staff at the full-time bookkeeping position in April, Alice then agreed to take on an Accounting Supervisor’s role, on a part-time basis. Alice helped guide the accounting area through some challenges during the spring of 2018 and was masterful in bringing our books up to date to ensure a successful fiscal year-end audit.

To Lynda, John and Alice – Congratulations and Thank You!
