Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON December 4, 2018– South Shore Yachts (SSY) a yacht sales and service company has been recently appointed as a dealer for Bavaria sailing yachts for Ontario. The appointment comes from Yacht Sales West (YSW), importer for Bavaria Yachts into Canada.

“We are pleased to be representing this renowned German builder,” said Rob Maclachlan, President of SSY. Rob has experience with Bavaria as a dealer a decade ago, but stepped away up the franchise when the recession loomed.

South Shore Yachts“It’s been a few years since Ontario has had Bavaria sailing yachts representation,” says Len Baronit the Bavaria Brand Specialist for YSW, “bringing SSY into the fold makes sense as they are a solid, long standing company that is well respected in the region.” concluded Len. Baronit’s and Maclachlan’s friendship and business relationship go back some years to the days when Rob worked for C&C and Len was a west coast dealer.

South Shore Yachts 2South Shore Yachts is located in Virgil, not far from Niagara-on-the Lake where Rob grew up and later worked for C&C. Cody Montgomery is a partner in South Shore Yachts. Cody is in charge of service and the pair work as a team to provide their customers, including many longstanding C&C owners, with complete service.
