Congratulations Stephen Cramm from RNSYS on capturing the NS 2018 Opti Provincial Championships held at Bedford Basin YC. 25 sailors competed in the Championship fleet and 9 in the Green Fleet.

Rob Dunbar sent us this wrap-up of this year’s ARK Regatta held at the Bedford Basin Yacht Club on July 8 and 9.
The Great Lakes Laser Regatta is now a wrap! Congratulations to the 73 participants, making this the largest Master’s Laser event in Canada this year. The event was held in the town of Thornbury west of Collingwood on South Georgian Bay, from July 12 through July 14. The races were held off shore from Thornbury harbour.
On June 30th through July 2ndcome and join the Nanaimo Yacht Club and celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday. A new non-competitive Canada 150 Division for Cruising Boats is now part the SIN Regatta.
The perennially just-out-of-reach gold ring for sailing is the engagement of the world beyond boaters. SailGP could be the first sail endeavour to break through.
The Etobicoke Yacht Club decided to re-introduce a once held regatta for it’s youth, in an effort to keep the kids for their Junior Sailing Programme involved in the club.
