CPS-ECP Staff Retirement

Alice Hinton

Aug 9, 2017

Alice Hinton has informed CPS-ECP that she will be retiring on August 31, 2017 after more than 17 years of service.

Since February of 2000, Alice has been our Bookkeeper at the National Office of Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons and has also provided on going bookkeeping support to the CPS Foundation. Over that time period the organization has seen many changes, a number of different staff members at the National Office and hundreds of different volunteers at the national, district and squadron levels. However, through it all, the organization has had the good fortune of having its books completed efficiently and effectively by Alice.

Throughout the years Alice has also worked with many Financial Officers at the national, district and squadron levels. She always provided helpful support to them all in multiple ways. For many of them, when they were new to their positions, Alice could always be counted on to help them and guide them to perform their duties.

Alice will be missed by all of us as a member of the National Office crew. We thank her for her many years of service to CPS-ECP and we wish her all of the best in her retirement – Fair Winds and Calm Seas Always.
