Pups on Board – another cutie

POTW

June 7, 2017

Michelle Jacques of Cambridge ON share this memory of her adorable pooch. “This is Frodo. Sadly, he passed away last year, but he loved being a boat dog!

“It was hard losing him, but he was a great dog and he lived to 15, so we were lucky. This photo was taken at Go Home Bay. His last summer we got to spend an epic six week trip with him from Honey Harbour to the 1000 Islands and back. “

It’s boating season – get out there and take some shots! The photos can be of anything (including dogs!) or other things nautical. They must be taken from or near a boat. They must be your shots and free from copyright. Most importantly, they must be wonderful. Send them to us along with the story behind them to CYonboard@kerrwil.com and put Photo in the subject line.

We could publish your Photo of the Week in the next issue!!

Lounging on the flybridge of our Sunsail 454, I had time to think about this dichotomy as I toasted the nighttime skies of Bora Bora and specifically the Southern Cross, a constellation that never fails to hypnotize. As the Crosby, Stills & Nash (1982) tune reminds us:

…you understand now why you came this way.
