I cannot help myself, I admit it. Just as cat videos have overtaken the Internet dogs on board are taking over Photo of the Week!!!

Ruth Still sent us an impossible to resist photo of her Golden Retriever ‘Nikki’ with her husband Bill on their boat, anchored at the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club.

“The boat was a 40′ Hunter Legend. Nikki was around 2 years and loved joining us on a sail. Bill made a special ramp for her to board as she was pretty heavy to lift on-board. We have since sold the boat but have great memories of our times sailing together with her.”

Cute or what?!!! Lise and Mike Starkey are from Nanaimo, BC and own a Catalina 30 sailboat.

OMG what great great shots. But I promise, next time we’ll switch gears. But really it’s up to you to pic the subjects. The photos can be of anything, preferably nautical and they must be taken from or near a boat. They must be your shots and free from copyright. Most importantly, they must be wonderful. Bayfield Marine Turns 40 with Big April Events

Ron and Pat Reder started out in October 1984 across the road from where they are right now on the Bayfield River in Bayfield ON. The store front was about 10 x 20 and the rest of that side of the building was a stock room, wood finishing room, then behind that was more back stock and the lunchroom. Expanding every few years for the store front, then moving over to this new building five years ago, this year with Adam, Shelley, and Holly are carrying on the business.
