This year’s Jeanneau Rendezvous at Poets Cove Marina and Spa, on South Pender Island, BC. began with the Welcome Dock Party and BBQ chef Ian Frazier working his magic.

Sponsored by Fraser Yacht Sales, the event kicked off Saturday morning with seminars featuring Catherine Guiader of Jeanneau America, a diesel engine presentation from Ben Cook of Stem to Stern Marine Service, a boat insurance presentation from Christie Burton of Navis Marine Insurance and a day cruising freedom presentation from Will and Sarah Curry. The weather cleared during the afternoon, just in time for the blindfold race.

“The Canadian Yachting baseball caps that were given as prizes were a big hit” commented Robin White, the event’s organizer.

From 34′ to 53′ with every size in between, and even a Merry Fisher 855, Fraser Yacht Sales put on an exceptional event once again with seminars, a blind folded dinghy race, barbecue on the docks and an appreciation dinner with lots of awards.
